Junior Racing Hours and Programs

- Junior racers need an M.I.K. License
- Juniors must bring a signed Parental Consent Form
- Programs are offered for 8 to 15 year old drivers to race separately, or together on Family Days.
- You
can also reserve track time with a minimum of 5 M.I.K. licensed minors

Junior Kart Classes
All juniors ages 8-15 must attend a mandatory Junior Licensing Class ... $35.00 (includes annual member's license)
- Classes are held every Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM. Please call ahead to reserve your Child's place in the class. If you can't make a class please call to see if we can do a class at another time - We are flexible.
- Privately Reserved Licensing Classes - $45. Privately scheduled licensing class is done on a staff availability basis.
- Please arrive 30 minutes prior to class to ensure enrollment.
- Classes are one and a half hours long and include on-track instruction followed by time trial competition.
- Each junior successfully completing the training program will receive his or her MIK license ($35.00 value).
- Junior Licenses grant the same rewards and benefits of our Member's License

Junior Karting Requirements
- Applies to all racers who are 8 to 15 years old and at least 50" tall.
- Juniors need a M.I.K. License. To get his or her license, each minor must successfully complete one of our Junior Kart Classes (see below).
- Privately Reserved Licensing Classes is $45. Privately scheduled licensing class is done on a staff availability basis.
- Younger drivers are size limited by the Mini-Kart's dimensions. Maximum weight is between 160 and 180 lbs. You must fit into the seat properly to drive the kart. If you are concerned about the fit of your young racer, we recommend that you visit our facility and trial-test the equipment with the minor ahead of time.
- All minors racing at M.I.K. must bring a parental consent form with them.
- Parental phone authorization is not allowed
