MIK INTRODUCES A HAND CONTROL KART FOR HANDICAP INDIVIDUALS
SCARBOROUGH, Maine Indoor Karting - Maine's premier kart racing facility has introduced a hand-controlled kart for use on their 1200 foot, 9-turn track. The Hand controls were custom built by Dan Morency and John Muehleisen. MIK pushed for this kart to be built due to the demand by disabled customers and the knowledge that no other indoor formula karting track caters to this important demographic.
Roger Snow (pictured) an 86 years old double amputee is shown here demonstrating the use of the kart. Please contact Maine Indoor Karting for more information.
